We were delighted to be able to have our Art Loan event as soon as Lockdown rules allowed us to open in safety.
We were at The Living Room on Thrale Road on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th April and it was great to see familiar faces again as well as lots of new people delighted to join the scheme and our new corporate member Taştê Kurdish Café who love the artwork in their restaurant. There were also several new artists adding their artwork.
There were over 70 artworks available, most were new - replacing ones that had been on loan over the long lockdown period since the last event in June 2020, and there were also several new artists joining the initiative.
